Why one Chinese photographer shoots both weddings and trade shows?
The start
In Barcelona I’ve seen too many Chinese couples get burned by local studios — language barriers, template assembly lines, surprise fees for retouching, no one to complain to as the wedding date looms. There’s a gap in the overseas Chinese photography market, and I speak Chinese and live here.
The turn
Then a Chinese exhibitor asked me to shoot their trade show. I found another gap: Chinese companies exhibiting overseas most lack a local photographer who understands the China rhythm — same-day footage, Chinese taste, direct Chinese communication.
Where it lands
Both lines are the same thing:
So Chinese people abroad never pay tuition again for being “taken advantage of”.
